As EMEA Events Marketing Manager, you will convey overall abilities of undertaking and occasion the board for LinkedIn's Talent Solutions business. Responsibilities
  • Execute exceptional and memorable events in the EMEA region and provide support as required for LATAM regional events, ensuring LinkedIn’s commercial and brand objectives are at the forefront of that delivery by delivering results against strategic KPIs
  • Build relationships with EMEA sales leaders and cross-functional partners to ensure event objectives (agenda, format, attendance, NPS, etc.) are met and delivered on budget
  • Implement impeccable project planning for all events in line with best practice to ensure structured briefings, management of timelines, comprehensive delegate management and systematic evaluation of events driving continuous improvement (e.g. via NPS)
  • Manage the internal communications in the run-up to events and work closely with field marketing, online marketing and sales to maximize pre-event promotional opportunities & post-event follow-up
  • Play an important role in our FY19 planning process, in collaboration with field/demand gen marketing teams and sales, including:
    • Provide recommendations for future LinkedIn and 3rd party events
    • Identify opportunities to achieve efficiencies of scale
    • Identify opportunities to collaborate with other BUs across the region
    • Evaluate and provide recommendations relating to our agency support model
  • Work closely with colleagues across Marketing and Communications to ensure that all messaging is consistent and that our brand and value proposition are effectively represented
  • Manage budgets effectively and provide accurate tracking and forecasting for individual projects
Basic Qualifications
  • 5+ years of a relevant project, conference management and or event experience
  • 5+ years’ Experience as a Events/Production/Project Manager within the tech/internet services sector, media sector and/or events agency
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience of managing both small / C-Level high-touch events as well as large events & tradeshows
  • Proven track record of excellent project management, skills from concept and briefing through to planning and evaluation
  • Analytical skills to manage budgets and deadlines
  • Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills
  • Proven experience in management of agencies and suppliers
  • Strong networking skills with internal stakeholders, suppliers, and the events community
  • A highly collaborative & inclusive team player that is comfortable working in a fast-paced, complex and matrixed environment
  • Excellent communication skills, including written and verbal
  • An entrepreneurial mindset, with a can-do attitude and obsessive attention to detail
  • The ability to speak fluently another European language on top of English would be highly desired
